COURSESHEALTHY COOKING with Erica Gross Chef Erica will be presenting various healthy cooking workshops through a variety of cuisines such as Greek, Chinese, Indian, Italian, Middle Eastern, and Thai. She will teach you cooking techniques and tips geared towards healthy cooking. Over the months she will offer classes on healthy brands & foods, herbs & spices, appetizers, dips & spreads, soups, salads, vegetarian, cooking with grains, pasta dishes, and easy desserts. If you have a special interest please let us know. Taste how great healthy cooking can be, Yum! BELLY DANCING with Lenora Dome Learn the basics of Mid-eastern dance while working every part of your body as you exercise through rib cage and hip isolations, arm and head movements, traveling steps, belly rolls, shimmies and body rolls. Rejoice in your feminine self through this ancient art form. A short exciting dance and a veil routine will also be taught. Please wear leotards or loose fitting clothing, non-slip socks or slippers.. CARDIO KICKBOXING with Jessica Serina Cardio Kickboxing is a great workout which improves your flexibility, fitness training and strength. The class begins with a stretch routine to warm up. The workout includes: kicks, jabs, lunges and combinations to improve your coordination, partner routines, and more. The last 15 minutes of class we work on butt & gut. Our instructor will motivate you through this “boot camp” style workout. Please bring a mat and wear comfortable clothing and sneakers. Light weights are optional. Don’t forget your water!. KETTLE BELL FITNESS with Steve Stepper No more excuses…join Steve for this awesome workout! The kettle bell is a weight that is easy to manipulate during different types of exercises to work on your core strength and balance. Please bring a mat and wear comfortable clothing. PILATES with Michael Thorn Take advantage of the opportunity to experience Classical Pilates! The classical method is rarely seen outside of Pilates studios. This system teaches the original exercises created by Joseph Pilates beginning and expanding on the fundamental concepts of breathing, concentration, control, centering, precision, balanced muscle development, rhythm/flow, whole body movement and relaxation. In just a few sessions students can see increased strength, flexibility, and body awareness. The exercises begin at an introductory level and gradually advance towards the ideal and more challenging forms. Repetition builds the understanding and ability to perform the exercises that challenge and engage the body and mind. Please bring a mat, beach towel, and wear comfortable clothing. ZUMBA with Ida & Anita Ferraro Get Zumbafied!! Zumba is a combination of Latin and International music and dance with the incorporation of each instructor’s individual style. This fun, energizing workout has easy to follow routines that help to tone and sculpt the body and increase your cardio and energy level. This is a great workout for all as you can modify the moves to fit your level. Please wear comfortable clothing and sneakers. Light weights are optional.
